Ante 'Tony' Jelenic, 83, Of Cliffside Park

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Ante "Tony" Jelenic, of Cliffside Park, died Nov. 23. He was 83.

He was born in Zdrelac, Croatia and came to the United States in 1956. He lived in Little Egg Harbor and North Bergen. He was a retired meat cutter for ShopRite in Fort Lee. He also was a member of the Meat Cutters Local 464, Little Falls. 

He was predeceased by his wife, Blazenka (nee) Skara.

He is survived by his children, John Jelenic and his wife Judy, Roberta Rudic and her husband Zeljko and Andy Jelenic and his wife Lisa; siblings, Bernadica Cikarela, Josephine Svorinich, the late Vladimar, Krsto, Albert, the late Rudolf, Maria Bozulich, Meri Bijelic and Vera Rudela; and grandchildren, Jesse, Chloe, Andrew, Alyssa and Paige. 

There will be a funeral Monday at the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, thence to St. John Nepomucene RC Church in Guttenberg, for a funeral Mass. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus. Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
